Blouse design for Kanchipuram silk saree | Reception saree blouse design

Today I am going to share photos of my wedding reception saree and it's blouse design. Usually in Tamil Nadu the bride wears two sarees during reception, first she wears the saree that has been given by her parents, after the arrival of the groom she changes to the saree given by the In-laws family.

Usually silk saree is worn during wedding reception, nowadays designer sarees and lehengas are replacing it. This saree was given to me by my parents, it is a double shade saree with a hue of bright green and olive green. The saree has pretty wave like design in gold color along with crystals. The pallu is in red color with gold flower design.

Saree Pallu

I went for cris cross design in shoulder for this saree along with a simple back neck pattern.

Blouse design

Silk sarees are delicate and tend to get torn easily due to frequent ironing. I Iron press my saree just before wearing it, so excuse me for the unkempt saree and blouse photos.
